Rosa Dolce&Gabbana Donnafugata, the rosé that stands out for its minerality and fragrance. The partnership with the well-known brand made in Italy reaffirms even more the company’s production philosophy: excellence, passion for work and attention to detail.

The Sicilia Doc Rosato is born from the blend of historical island vines, the Nerello Mascalese and the Nocera. The first one transmits all its minerality and floral essence, while the Nocera spreads the strength of its fruity bouquet.

After a careful selection of the best grapes, the berries are placed on a vibrating table for careful manual sorting; the best grapes will be destemmed and crushed gently. It follows a cold maceration period to extract the best characteristics of this rosé, followed by fermentation at controlled temperature and an aging of five months, two in tanks and three in bottles.

Notes of taste

The fine Dolce&Gabbana Donnafugata bottle has a soft pink color together with a delicate bouquet of rose and jasmine petals, all cuddled by pleasant nuances of bergamot and currant. A rosé, as already pointed out, with a strong mineral accent and an excellent persistence.

The Rosa Dolce&Gabbana is the perfect wine to accompany your aperitifs. Bride perfectly paired with raw fish, delicate meats and first whites.

Curiosity

The name "Rosa" was chosen to emphasize the strong personality of the Donnafugata bottle. A project strongly wanted by Dolce&Gabbana, always fascinated by this incredible reality. The creativity of the label takes up the inspiration of the Lombard company combined with the culture, tradition and craftsmanship of the Sicilian winery.
